Hi, my name is Lili and I am the founder of Wana Bana. We make bags 👜. Not
mass-produced bags, but one ☝of a kind bags.
Each one unique because we upcycle vintage images. We reuse them by making a bag around it. We use fake leather as a principle because we don’t want to harm animals🐾.
Hand-made by our makers Aida, Johanna and Ximena in Colombia 🇨🇴.

Wana Bana was born out of the need to have social impact in my home country: Colombia 🇨🇴.
My mission is to improve equality: create stay at home jobs for unprivileged single mothers so they can work independently and take care of their children.
In this way, new generations are nurtured and well educated for a brighter future.
How?
Develop the local economy by purchasing locally made materials, paying fair prices to the makers and creating new markets to increase production volumes and then be able to hire more unprivileged single moms.
Improve the labour conditions of the makers
Reduce waste
Follow the 10 principles of the World Fair Trade Organisation
Donate part of the profits yearly to a children’s educational program in Colombia
