“Mr. Montilla’s (Fernando J.) playlists on the lps never seemed to match the individuals pictured on the covers. In this, he was genious! His scheme was apparently to increase publicity for his poorly selling albums, by plastering a catalogue of them on the front of the “sampler”, whilst offering a distinctly different set on the record itself. Brilliant! His cunning was so amazing that it has never been equaled. Who else, I ask you, was ever so bold as to put the back numbers on the obverse? Mr. Montilla surely deserves the Berry Gordy, Jr. Award for creative promotions!” Source: apesound

Story attached: Someone chose this cover because they felt a connection with it a long time ago when music was played through a vinyl record. Time has changed and music is now almost virtual. Nowadays people keep their records because of a longing to go back in time. Time eventually dissapates this emotional connection and the cover finally goes to the trash. Then the cover is, by destiny, re-covered and re-incarnated into this bag.
Impact: 100% Hand-Made by Johana, single mother coming from a disadvantaged community. She was paid a fair price for this bag. It took her half a day to make it. By buying this you are generating work in Colombia and you are helping the environment by reusing vintage LP covers
