Why we started: our Mission & Vision

Colombia: the second Fashion Capital of Latin America

Did you know that Colombia is known in Latin America as the second fashion capital after Brazil?

Every summer we held Colombia Moda, where re-known designers show their collection, new talets show their fresh poposals and numerous magazines get together together to see the new trends.

Many people in Europe are still not aware of Colombia’s Fashion background.

Therefore the brand's name Wana Bana is related to a beautiful delicious Colombian fruit called ‘Guanabana’, which not many people probably have heard off as well, but after eating will love immediately. That is what Wana Bana Design wants to achieve bring designers unkown for this market which everyone will fall in love. 

The logo is a a cut of a Guanabana with the colours of Wana Bana.

 

Mission

Wana Bana Design is a Latin-American Lifestyle brand, where consumers find design items to express their unique self, made with respect for people and planet. We are currently developing the fashion brand for the Dutch market. 

 

Vision

We develops the local economy in South America by showcasing Latin American Designers and further develop their collection for the European market, by promoting slow design.
